A BOOK OF BEHAVIOR. Louisville, KY: Printed at the American Printing House
for the Blind. 1875. Folio (13-3/4" x 11"). ff.68,(1). Index. Entirely
printed in "raised letter" for the blind. Orig. brown pebbled cloth, somewhat
worn, over thin boards (some old water stains). Paper spine label with raised
lettering (a few small chips). Title page with a blue crayon ownership
signature dated 2nd June 1879. 1" chip at bottom of title (affecting the raised
decorative border but not the text). $1,500.00 (trade discount allowed)
The American Printing House for the Blind was founded in 1858. Its first
book publication with raised letters was 1866. All of their early publications
are rare. The earliest imprint in OCLC is 1870. Our title is not recorded
by OCLC.
