Cont. paneled calf, rebacked. Some occasional text soiling.     $750.00 (trade

The first edition in English by the French physician Tauvry, who wrote five 
books before his death in 1701 at the age of 32. Wellcome Library, Vol. 5, 
p. 236; Blake. National Library of Medicine, p. 445. As in all copies there 
is a pagination error, without numbered pages 145-160.
