FS:  Japanese crepe-paper books, one Mame-hon calendar

1. Mame-hon (miniature), 2 x 3 inches, Calendar for 1915. Tokyo: Isekin &
Co., 1914. Illustrated with color woodblock prints on creped paper.
Double-folded pages. Each calendar page is faced with a colorful
illustration. The covers are very fragile with a few edge chips, front cover
a little faded. Internally bright and intact. Sewn through with green silk
ties.  $250


2. Japanese Fairy Tale Series, NO. 3: BATTLE OF THE MONKEY AND THE CRAB.
Tokyo: Y. Nishinomiya. No date. 6 x 4 inches, crepe paper. 9 double-fold
leaves, 18 pages including covers. Illustrations are very finely detailed
and brilliantly colored. Quite charming. Text in English. Sewn through with
red silk ties. Fine, bright condition. $125

These are both fairly priced, but will offer the two together for $300
including shipping & insurance.
