GREEN, Gerald. THE LAST ANGRY MAN. New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 
(1956). First Edition. One of several novels from the 1950s and early 
1960s, along with the likes of THE MAN IN THE GRAY FLANNEL SUIT and 
REVOLUTIONARY ROAD, that dealt with the theme of increasing 
dissatisfaction of the middle class. INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the author 
on the front endpaper "with all good wishes." Also laid in is a brief 
AUTOGRAPH NOTE SIGNED (ANS) by the author: "I'm flattered." Made into a 
film starring Paul Muni. Quite scarce when signed. Mild wear to spine 
tips of book. Near Fine in a Good dustwrapper with a long closed tear to 
the front edge of the spine which is sunned.              $150.00
