A very rare book on the recipes for "the Elixir of Life", processes of
distillation, the use of medicinal plants, and alchemical practices. See
Duveen's BIBLIOTHECA ALCHEMICA ET CHEMICA, p. 176 for a discussion. He ends his
annotation with, "the fact that this striking book has escaped the researchers
of most of the bibliographies must be due to its rarity." Included by Simon
in his BIBLIOTHECA GASTRONOMICA, #482. One copy has appeared at auction in
the last 30 years of ABPC.
