STOKER, Bram. DRACULA. New York: Doubleday & McClure Co., 1899. First
American Edition. Original pictorial beige cloth depicting the count's
castle high on a precarious hill. The most famous and certainly the most
influential of all vampire novels, spawning an entire bloody genre that
persists to this day with Anne Rice, the "Sookie Stackhouse" books, and
of course the Twilight machine. Slight sporadic foxing, some aging to
the paper; hinges tight and secure. Pencil name on front endpaper and
small ink stamped name on inside front cover. The covers are a bit
darkened with some soiling and rubbing at the rear and the spine with
slight tears at the tips. Just about Very Good. $4,500.00
