of the ORIGINAL MANUSCRIPT bound in. This is also the DEDICATION COPY, 
INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the author on the dedication page to the 
dedicatee, Russell Hunter: "To Russell: this first copy of/a book 
produced in sweat, blood/and tears, with my lasting/Devotion, gratitude 
and esteem./Fritz/Paris, Oct. 1948." Housed in the publisher's slipcase 
with a pictorial front reproducing the dustwrapper art. Fine in a Very
