back to the 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. Includes a separate
section on historical legal cases. Terrifically exciting reading if you’re
into hallmarking law and lore, and a sure-fire insomnia cure if you’re
not.

DESCRIPTION: Hardcover. 6”x9.5”, xxxvii + 372 pages, plus 35 black & white
plates.

CONDITION NOTES: Some wear- covers with light soil and some scuffing,
slight rips and a small hole along the spine head/upper hinge cloth (see
photo), hinges a bit loose, but once you get inside it's clean and good.
