(4),251,(1)pp. With the fine copper engraved added-title (frontispiece) illustrating 
a theatrical production, a musician, jester, etc. Cont. paneled calf, finely 
rebacked, orig. red morocco spine label laid down. With the bookplate of 
Frank Brewer Bemis. A very nice copy.     $1,250.00 (trade discount allowed)
The second English edition of Scarron's most famous work. Of all of the 
17th century publications written by Scarron (1610-1660 )this is the only folio 
format. The engraved frontispiece is often found lacking. Wing S831.
