Blind stamped velum boards rebacked in vellum,
seven raised bands. Extensively illustrated by
Jan Luyken (1649-1712) the creative Dutch
illustrator, engraver, and poet. Schreckenberg

Vellum soiled, new endpapers, engraved extra
title reinforced at fore and bottom edges,
soiled, a few marginal repairs to the early
leaves with minor marginal dampstaining through
E2, a few further tears and repairs, one map
neatly repaired on verso, dampstain mainly to
lower margin of last half of second part and its
index affecting text on the last few dozen
leaves. A good copy with strong images. [36114]
