SIMIC, Charles. POEMS 1967 - 1982. WEATHER FORECAST FOR UTOPIA & 
VICINITY. (Barrytown, NY): Station Hill, (1983). First Edition. Red 
cloth with gilt lettering. There were only 53 copies issued in cloth, 
this being one of only ten SIGNED copies with a roman numeral. According 
to the colophon page, these copies were to have an original drawing 
bound in, but we have personally handled four of the ten copies, and 
none of those, including this one, has had a drawing. Apparently Simic 
had intended to do the drawings but never felt the requisite inspiration 
to do so. In addition to signing the colophon page, the poet has also 
dated it 21 January 1984. Slight foxing to top edge of bulked text.
