Edition. Review copy with slip. Illustrated with fifteen plates. 
INSCRIBED and SIGNED in 1931 by the author to writer L. A. G. Strong 
"with admiration for Dewar Rides." On the half title page Colum also 
adds: "No one that I love/Is left alive in Sandy Cove." Fine 
association. Faint tape stain on front pastedown and endpaper. Very 
Good, lacking dustwrapper.
The British writer Leonard Alfred George Strong was a leading popular 
writer of his time and, from 1938 until his death in 1958, a director of 
the important publishing house of Methuen and Company. Among his most 
popular subjects were Ireland and the supernatural. 		$150.00
