The very scarce first edition of this attack upon those responsible for the
Saint Batrtholomew Day Massacre (1572) in which thousands of Protestant
Huguenots were killed. An important source book for this period. BL French STC,
p. 185. Adams lists two other editions (not the 1577) under "France,
