First Edition. Contemporary half leather over green pebbled boards. 
Coloured chromolithographic frontispiece and seven additional chromo 
plates, numerous woodcuts in the text.

All plates present. Lacks the folding map (although one is supplied 
in facsimile. Boards separated  from spine panel, and spine panel 
heavily chipped. Could certainly use rebinding. That said, a decent 
copy could well be made of it. I see a similar copy, with the map, 
listed at $1800, and one without a map at $2500.
