[Baton Rouge]: [Army and Navy Publishing Company, Inc.], 1941. First
printing, Original cloth, Folio, [vi], 89, [26] pages, black and white
photographs. Very Good.
Yearbook of this California coastal defense regiment during World War
II. Includes a regimental history and many photographs of the regiment and
Camp McQuaide along with individual portraits of enlisted personnel. Camp
McQuaide was located near Watsonville, California and the site is now
occupied by Monterey Bay Academy. This copy inscribed and signed by
regimental commander David P. Hardy. Bound in red cloth over boards with
upper board stamped in gilt. Front and rear pastedowns bear a neat
institutional stamp, but no other library marks to book. Binding shows some
edge wear including shallow bumps and fraying at extremities....... $175.00
