      Recollections of Marine Corps Major General and fighter ace Marion 
Carl. Carl's combat duty included the battles of Midway and Guadalcanal. He 
also later flew photo recon missions over China and flew missions in 
Vietnam. He was shot and killed in 1998 at age 82 defending his wife and 
home from an armed robber. General Carl is buried in Arlington National 
Cemetery. Lovely copy, no significant wear, first edition....... $150.00
