CHAUCER, Geoffrey. THE CANTERBURY TALES. New York: Limited Editions 
Club, (1946). Large octavo bound in original white morocco-grained 
sheepskin-backed decorated boards. Designed by George Macy with 
decorated initials and headings by Charles E. Skaggs and illustrated 
with full-page color plates by Arthur Szyk. Copy #797 of 1500 SIGNED by 
the illustrator on the colophon page. Bookplate on front pastedown. Two 
small scuffed marks with leather worn at the heel of the spine. A 
significantly nicer copy of this title than usually found as the 
sheepskin is very prone to wear and rubbing. About Fine in a Fine
