text woodcuts (some full-page) and a large folding plan of Roman troop
deployment (often lacking). Cont. vellum, soiled & darkened,
hand-lettered spine. Some old minor underlining. Several old ownership
signatures on title. Engraved armorial bookplate on front pastedown of
