I can offer...

[CIVIL WAR]  LOSSING, Benson. Memoir of Lieut.-Col. John T. Greble, of the United States Army. Philadelphia : Printed for Private Circulation, 1870.
With an engraved portrait frontispiece of Greble and two other engravings.  8vo, quarter green cloth and red paper boards, gilt lettered spine.  99 pp.  Head of the spine a bit frayed and with some rubbing at the foot of the spine; the paper boards are scuffed and are worn at the corners, and the frontispiece is foxed.  A good copy.
Greble, a lieutenant in the 2d U.S. Artillery, was killed at Big Bethel, June 10, 1861. “Though comparatively a small affair, considered in the light of subsequent events, at the time of its occurrence it was thought to be a great battle, and was flashed all over the country and was the subject of comment in every household. In the South it was an affair of considerable importance, inasmuch as it sent the first gleam of sunlight through the dark cloud of war that overspread this section, while at the North it served to convince the people that the South was in earnest in the secession movement” (D.H. Hill, “Battle Of Bethel,” Southern Historical Society Papers, Vol. XXIX. Richmond , Va. , January-December. 1901).
