A promotional pamphlet for the Overland Automobile, "A 25 H. P.
Overland that anyone may own for $1,000." The two women began their
trip in Times Square on May 16, 1910, and ended it 5,393 miles later in
San Francisco on July 23, 1910. Bliss. AUTOS ACROSS AMERICA, #11. "Miss
Scott was the second woman to drive an automobile across the country."
