heraldic woodcut. Blado's full-page woodcut device at end. Large ornate
woodcut initial at beginning of each of the seven "books." 18th century
vellum, spine lettered in gilt. A bit trimmed at lower margin. Light

The first edition of this important archaeological, antiquarian and
topographical study of ancient Rome. It was reprinted numerous times
