11 x 8 inches.  Title stamped in gold and blind on front cover.  Illustrated throughout.  4 page advertisement for Hoe Combined Jig-Saw and Drilling Machine laid in at rear.  Robert Hoe, who led R. Hoe & Co. for a number of years, made several important innovations in the field of printing and was a noted bibliophile, amassing a world-class library.  He was the founder and first president of the Grolier Club and one of the founders of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  This book shows the machinery, tools, and supplies used in the creation of a stereotype plate.  A nice copy. ($50)  $25

Blue cloth, 9 x 6 inches.  Top edge blue.  A nice copy, with just some light sunning to the spine.  Inscribed by Lewis, who edited the volume, with a signed autograph note also tipped-in.  Both are signed "Lefty."   Lewis was the premier collector of Walpole in his day.  Also two pieces of ephemera laid-in; a contemporary review of another of Lewis' books and a retained copy of a letter to Lewis. ($60)  $25

A light-hearted list of members of the Goats Club in 1927, with a prose essay by Robert H. Durbin at the end and a poem at the beginning by someone named Karl; presumably Karl Bloomingdale, who is the only Karl listed as a member of the Goats Club.  ($40)  $10
