Original wrappers, good/very good copies of a rather scarce and important undergraduate magazine described by Hoffman in "The Little Magazine" as "a lively member of a group of university magazines which may be said to have belonged to the little magazine family." Contains the first printings of Pound's "Abject and Utter Farce" [of modern cultural education], his "On the Divisions in Jewry" &, most importantly, "Canto XXXVI." Also includes "Fascism in the U.S." by Walt Rostow, 2 poems by Wallace Stevens, several pieces by Jas. Laughlin, articles such as "Why We Were On The Picket Line", &c. The Pound contributions are Gallup C982, 1011 & 1048. ("Canto XXXVI" includes Pound's revised English version of Cavalcanti's canzone "Donna mi prega.") The Stevens poems are Edelstein C86.
