adopted country, SIGNED by him on the front endpaper: "With 
regards/Andrew Carnegie/May 1st, 1917." We have handled a number of 
signed books by Carnegie over the years and this is the first one that 
was both not inscribed to a particular person and signed with his name 
rather than "from the author." Hinges cracked but tight. Very Good.
