Original front wrapper, sewn, uncut, pp. [511] - [562], (pp. 561-562 misnumbered 557-558.)  Laid into attractive marbled wraps with title label, within a custom cloth/boards portfolio. Folding table of the weather statistics for June inserted. ("Account of the State-House of Pennsylvania" [Independence Hall]; An installment of the novel "The Foresters" (by Jeremy Belknap); the use of oxen rather than horses in farming; Wm. Barton's description of the Grotto (Cave) at Swatara, Pa. ; "The Trifler" #3; General Warren's oration following the Battle of Bunker's Hill; the fine arts in the U. S.; Anecdotes of "Pocahunta";  two "Characters" - Jefferson and Dr. Cooper; The Rise and Progress of the Revolution in Virginia; &c.)  The inside of the wrapper advertises Jesse Waterman's bookstore; Truman & Milne, smiths; and  John Hunter's treatise on venereal diseases, newly published by Chas. Cist.  Copies of this important magazine in wrappers are increasingly hard to come by.  $250.00   ($ 200.00 to the trade)
