Paris: Tresse & Stock, 1887. First edition.  Nicely bound in half morocco with marbled boards, approx. 5-3/4 X 4 inches.  a few marginal chips, wrappers not present. SIGNED INSCRIPTION BY HUYSMANS to fellow author Jean Dolant on the half-title, with an additional inscription below Huysmans' by Dolant. Scarce, fragile novel by the poster-child of the decadent movement. OCLC cites only 8 copies in the U.S. & 5 elsewhere (curiously, not in France.)
