the city of Urbino. Cont. vellum, somewhat soiled, leather spine label,
chipped. Old water stains (light to moderate) throughout. Armorial
bookplate of Marchionis Salsae. $475.00 (trade discount allowed)
This is the posthumous first edition of a work which Baldi (d. 1617)
did not complete. A number of manuscripts (circa 1596) exist. It is one
of the first histories of mathematics.
