PARKMAN, Francis. THE OREGON TRAIL. New York: Limited Editions Club, 
1943. Large octavo (6-5/8" x 10") bound in full tan saddle leather with 
title and decorations by Maynard Dixon burnt into the leather. Edited 
from the author's notebooks by Mason Wade with an introduction by him. 
Illustrated by Maynard Dixon with pen drawings and paintings in color. 
Copy #232 of 1500 SIGNED by the illustrator on the colophon page. One of 
the more fragile books of the press, this copy is in lovely condition. 
Fine in a slightly worn chemise and a Very Good, darkened slipcase with
