ELIOT, T. S. RELIGIOUS DRAMA: MEDIAEVAL AND MODERN. New York: House of 
Books, Ltd., 1954. First Edition. Maroon boards. First and only edition 
of this essay composed in 1937 after Eliot wrote MURDER IN THE 
CATHEDRAL. Copy #10 of only 300 copies SIGNED by the poet. Small, 
tasteful bookplate of Adrian Homer Goldstone on the front pastedown. 
Laid in is a folded prospectus for the book. Fine in original glassine 
with minor wear as well as a tissue overwrap not seen on any other copies.

Adrian Homer Goldstone, 1897-1977, grew up in the area around Monterey, 
California. An avid book collector all of his life, he is particularly 
well know for his bibliographies of Arthur Machen and John Steinbeck.
