COOLIDGE, Calvin. AUTOGRAPH LETTER SIGNED (ALS). New York, 12 August 
1931. First Edition. Uncommon AUTOGRAPH LETTER SIGNED (ALS) completely 
in Coolidge's hand dated New York, 12 August 1931 to Dr. L. F. Abbott on 
8-1/2" x 11" thin onionskin paper. In full: "I have just learned of your 
illness and am leaving this note for your secretary to send to you 
telling you of my sympathy and hope for speedy recovery. Cordially, 
Calvin Coolidge." Coolidge had left the office of the president two 
years prior and in less than two years would be dead. He is uncommon in 
holograph material. Minor wrinkling. Near Fine. (#014920)        $750.00
