Woodcut initials. 18th century calf, gilt. Spine extremities and outer
corners rubbed, but overall very good. This copy with a Latin
inscription, dated 1754, noting that this copy came from the library of
Richard Mead, M.D. (1754 was the year of Mead’s death).	$2,000.00

philosopher Philoponus, also called John the Grammarian. This work is a
refutation of the arguments of Proclus, who he claims had
