Price reduced: Was $6000, Now $4000

KING, Martin Luther. STRIDE TOWARD FREEDOM. New York: Harper & Brothers,
(1958). First Edition. The true First Edition of Martin Luther King's
first book. Illustrated with photographs. SIGNED on the diagonal by the
author on the first blank with the notation "Best Wishes." There are
quite a few King books offered that are secretarially signed and a
lesser number that have an ink-stamped signature, and alas a seemingly
endless supply of copies with an often poorly forged signature, but
those that are authentically signed are few and far between. Pastedowns
darkened; some wear and tear to the spine, mostly at the head. Good in a
Very Good dustwrapper with a sunned spine. (#016417) $4,000.00
