Thomas Paine: Common Sense. [WITH] A Letter Addressed to the Abbé Raynal, on the Affairs of North-America. [WITH] Rights of Man: Part I. [WITH] Rights of Man; Part the Second. [WITH] Miscellaneous Articles. [WITH] Letter Addressed to the Addressers, on the Late Proclamation. London: J. Ridgway [&] H.D. Symonds, 1792. Period marbled boards and leather spine; 8vo (19.5 cm); 46 + [2] pp.; 78 + [2] pp.; 90 + [6] pp.; 36 pp.; 40 pp.; portrait frontispiece and leaves of publisher's adverts. Gimbel 160.

Six separate pamphlets by Paine, including his two most famous and influential works, bound together in one volume, each with a separate title-page. An uncommon collection of early printings of these titles, with the fifth and possibly the sixth constituting first editions. Binding worn and rubbed, chips to the spine; front and rear hinges cracked with some separating of the early page gatherings, but both boards and all the leaves are secure; some mild foxing and scattered soiling and toning to the pages.
