First Edition. Lightly tipped on to the front pastedown is a printed 
copy of the author's most famous poem "America the Beautiful," complete 
with music. Lightly tipped to the front endpaper is a printed copy of 
the same poem (3-1/2" x 5-1/2") signed in print at the conclusion and 
INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the author at the top "Professor A. H. 
Tolman/With patriotic greetings from/Katharine Lee Bates." A lovely 
presentation of this popular patriotic lyric. Light rubbing to the spine 
tips of the book; bookplate on the verso of the front endpaper. The 
printed copies of the poem each with a fold in the center. Both book and 
poems Near Fine. Housed in a Fine green morocco-backed marbled paper
