STEINBECK, John. CUP OF GOLD. A LIFE OF SIR HENRY MORGAN, BUCCANEER,
WITH OCCASIONAL REFERENCE TO HISTORY. New York: Covici Friede, (1936).
First Edition. The 1936 issue of Steinbeck's first book printed with
remainder sheets of the 1929 first edition and with new front material.

comprised of no more than 939 copies. This copy in blue cloth (maroon
has priority) but is in the first issue of the dustwrapper without the
publisher's name printed on the spine. An increasingly uncommon book no
longer often seen in this condition. Fine in just about Fine dustwrapper
with a hint of wear. (#014769) $850.00
