FROST, Robert. COLLECTED POEMS OF ROBERT FROST with AUTOGRAPH MANUSCRIPT 
POEM. New York: Halcyon House, (1939). First Edition. Second Printing. 
INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the author "For Margaret Stearns" in 1940 on the 
front endpaper with the entire twelve-line poem "Spring Pools" in 
FROST'S HOLOGRAPH, with one word changed from the original. SIGNED and 
dated by the poet at the top of the poem and SIGNED again and INSCRIBED 
at the end. Owner's name on the front pastedown. Mild sunning to the 
cloth. Near Fine, lacking the dustwrapper.

This book reprints the contents of the 1939 COLLECTED POEMS, which 
reprinted the contents of the 1930 COLLECTED POEMS with the addition of 
A FURTHER RANGE. It collects all of the poems from NORTH OF BOSTON, NEW 
HAMPSHIRE, and A FURTHER RANGE. The poems from A BOY'S WILL, MOUNTAIN 
INTERVAL, and WEST-RUNNING BROOK are those included in the 1930 
COLLECTED POEMS with the additions and deletions from the first editions 
that occurred in that collection. Frost's introduction, "The Figure A 
Poem Makes," is not included. (#012439)        $9,500.00
