1895.] Tall folio, approx. 16 X 11 inches, 12 pages, as issued. A few small marginal tears. Twain’s piece occupies about 2/3rds  of a page. It was the title-piece in his “How to Tell a Story and  Other Essays” published in 1897. 
Twain’s original appearances in periodicals in  their original formats are often hard to obtain, and are valuable in view of his tendency to re-edit.
