BASANI: Typographia Remondini Ed. 1827.

16mo [bound in 8ths]; original full black morocco bordered in blind, 
raised bands on spine, marbled pastedowns, page edges gilt. 477 pp. 
Small engraved vignette on title page, one full-page engraved plate 
of the Virgin, tables. Moderate rubbing to the binding, a fresh clean 
copy, housed in the publisher's original sliding top tray case 
constructed on paper boards covered in matching black morocco lined 
with decorated paper. Top lid of box with slight splits along edges, 
leather rubbed, small round paper label on upper part of spine.

Overall, an excellent example of a nice Latin Breviary in a very rare 
example of an early 19th Century publisher's slipcase.
