Text illustrated with 97 woodcuts (including 5 repeats), 2-1/2" x 2", by Bernard Salomon. Bound in old calf, nicely rebacked (19th century?) with red morocco spine label. Some light soiling. A few minor paper repairs. Small loss at bottom corner of title page. Fore-edge a bit trimmed, touching an occasional marginal text note.	$4,500.00 (trade discount allowed)
This is the second edition of Teofilo's (a new translation from the Greek) Italian New Testament. The first edition of 1551 was not illustrated with woodcuts.
