TITLE: “19th Century Australian Silver”

Published by the Antique Collectors’ Club in 1990.

DISCUSSION: A sweeping, heavily-illustrated history of a dynamic and at
times somewhat wild period in Australian silversmithing. The text includes
coverage of New South Wales from 1788 to 1900, Victoria from 1845 to 1900,
South Australia from 1836 to 1900, Tasmania, New Zealand & Queensland.
There are appendices on engravers, secular gold cups and presentation
pieces, and 19th century exhibitions.

DESCRIPTION: Hardcover. 2 volumes. 8.5”x11”, 342 + 373 pages, packed with
color and black & white illustrations, dust jackets. Slipcased.

CONDITION NOTES: The slipcase has some wear and soil (please see the
photo, below), the books themselves have some very light wear, but overall
are clean and nice, with tight bindings.
