TITLE: “The Best of the Anglers’ Club Bulletin 1920-1972”

Privately printed for The Anglers’ Club of New York by the Stinehour Press
in 1972.

DISCUSSION: The Anglers’ Club of New York was founded in 1906 and started
its Bulletin in 1920. This selection features a wide range of essays from
the Bulletin on many aspects of fly fishing, “articles of an imaginative,
entertaining and informative nature that seem most likely to deserve
rescue from the oblivion of time”. Biographies of each author are also
included.

DESCRIPTION: Hardcover. 7”x10”, 168 pages, several line illustrations.
Slipcased.

CONDITION NOTES: A little light soil to the slipcase, former owner's gift
inscription on the endpaper, but otherwise clean and nice, with a tight
binding.
