DISCUSSION: This is the revised and updated trade edition of this angling
classic, one of the finest books ever written on Western trout and salmon.
Joseph Henry Jackson called the author, “one of the few immortals in the
field of writing about nature and the natural sciences”. “Here are superb
descriptions of the different species and variations of trout and salmon
and other British Columbia game fish, their breeding and feeding and
migratory habits, their history, [in a] book filled with information and
lore”.

DESCRIPTION: Hardcover. 5.5”x8.5”, 356 pages, 2 color plates and many line
illustrations, dust jacket.

CONDITION NOTES: The dust jacket has some wear and chipped, and a tear
across the spine– (please see the photos, above and below). The book
itself has a name crossed out on the endpaper and some minor wear, but
otherwise is clean and nice, with a tight binding.
