Large woodcut device of Giolito on title and verso of the final leaf, the register. Each of the 20 cantos with a fine half-page woodcut within an ornate border and each canto with the text of the "Argomento del Canto" within an ornate woodcut border. The first edition of Lodovico Dolce's posthumously published popularization of Homer for an Italian audience, translating and adapting the Odyssey into the ottava rima of Boccaccio's epics.
