Edward Bibbins Aveling was an English biologist and popular spokesman for Darwinian evolution and socialism. He was the longtime companion of Karl Marx's daughter, Eleanor, and a colleague of Frederick Engels, with whom he translated the first volume of Das Kapital. Charles Bradlaugh was a political activist, prolific pamphleteer and, according to Wikipedia, "one of the most famous English atheists of the 19th century." First pamphlet with first and last leaves detached, deaccession stamp of the International Institute of Social History [Amsterdam] on the verso of the title; third pamphlet bound without the title-page; some wear and dust-soiling to the edges.
