is typed above the letterhead. To Lt. Col. E. Requin, Commissariat General
des Affaires de Guerre Franco-Americaines, Paris. In part: "pleased to
accept the copy of your book 'La Course de l'Amerique a la Victoire'....I
look forward with a great deal of pleasure to reading it....John J.
