France and Europe, written by the man who restored the stained glass

Le Vieil (1708-1772) was a professional glazier who maintained a glass

one on ancient mosaics, and one on the manufacture of pottery and
porcelain. This text is prefaced by a short biography of Le Vieil, and an
appreciation of his work by Grandjean de Fouchy, Secretary of the Royal
Academy of Science. Duncan 14145.
