Title with large woodcut printer's device, repeated on the verso of the final leaf. Old vellum, with black morocco spine label. Vellum a bit soiled, but a very attractive, clean copy.	$2,500.00 (trade discount allowed)
The rare third edition in Greek of Pindar's Odes. It is edited by J. Ceporinus and H. Zwengli, who has written the preface and an epistle at the end. See Dibdin, GREEK & LATIN CLASSICS Volume 2, p. 286 "it is a most excellent edition, formed on that of Calliergus (1515)." Adams P1222. VD 16, P2794.  Only two auction records (ABPC), the last one in 1978!
