In this case it read, "FROM THE FRANKLIN D ROOSEVELT COLLECTION AUCTIONED FEB. , APRIL, 1946 BY H. R. HARMER INC. , N. Y. The letter is addressed to himself but by a secretarial hand. Always desirable, these items have grown significantly in rarity and value over the last 67 years. Wonderful illustrations abound, all 27 plates are present, 4 are double page spreads and one is double fold-out with 2 panels missing from ends. Plates are generally Good or better. Headpieces, tailpieces, elaborated initials. Front hinge cracked, otherwise binding and covers are solid . About half a dozen quarter sized paper losses involving an initial. German language text with scattered Hebrew. Shipping weight is 10 pounds. 350.00
