TITLE: “Annals of the Town of Keene, from its First Settlement, in 1734,
to the Year 1790; with corrections, additions, and a Continuation, from
1790 to 1815”

Published in Keene by J.W. Prentiss and Company in 1851.

DISCUSSION: "The following annals were compiled at the request of the New
Hampshire Historical Society, and of several citizens of Keene". The
compiler quotes extensively from public and private records, as well as
"aged and respectable inhabitants of this town". First published in 1826,
with corrections and additions for this edition noted with brackets.

DESCRIPTION: Softcover. 5.5"x9", 120 pages, printed map on page 29 and a
folding map at the rear.

CONDITION NOTES: Covers worn, some foxing, map detached but present.
