WILLIAMS, William Carlos. TYPED LETTER SIGNED (TLS). Rutherford, NJ, 23
September 1960. Fine Typed Letter on personal stationery SIGNED as
"Bill" to Wesleyan librarian Wayman Parker. In part: "'A Dream of Love'
is a script that I have had to revise. A corrected version of it will
appear in the next few months." Williams tells Parker that it would be
useless for him to print this piece again as it will appear along with
four other plays under the imprint of New Directions. He concludes on a
personal note: "Your father was one of my closest friends during the
last years of his life and your mother as her own end approached. They
were people whom I love and admired, a breed of men close to my heart."
